Dr. Ed Ashby, a legend in the archery hunting community for dedicating more than 27 years to the study of arrow performance and broadhead lethality on six continents. Thanks to Dr. Ashby and his crew, his Natal Study helped legalize archery hunting in South Africa. Many sub-Saharan countries followed suit. Dr. Ed Ashby has filed a federal lawsuit against GrizzlyStik Corporation and GES Corporation for breach of contract, misappropriation of name and likeness, and false endorsement under the Lanham Act. He alleges that GrizzlyStik and GES made unauthorized use of his name in their products despite their failure to comply with his quality standards. Dr. Ashby has asked the Court to prevent GrizzlyStik and GES from making further use of his name and to award Dr. Ashby with monetary relief.
